Whether you are new to working with verse or want to hone existing skills, Lodestar's Shakespeare Weekend Intensive will challenge and inspire you.

Working first with sonnets then with speeches, you'll apply a simple set of principles that enable you to act freely and authentically within the style.   

​

The sessions are led by British director Max Rubin. He is a former AD of The Liverpool Shakespeare Festival, head of Acting at Institute of Arts Barcelona and has extensive experience teaching and directing verse plays.

This 2-day course is open to all adults. It runs from10am - 4pm (with breaks) on 29th and 30th October at FAVA.
